Week 2 picks.
The earlier you submit your picks, the better chances you have at absolutely nothing. So play early or go home.
My picks:
Falcons over Cardinals. If we learned anything from week 1, is the Falcons and Matt Ryan are pretty bad. Since we learned this, it is obvious that they will beat the Cardinals, although Whisenhunt is still a good coach.
Bengals over Ravens. Ravens seem pretty good. Bengals seem pretty Bengally. I pick the Bengals unless Ray Lewis murders TO. So I guess this one could go either way.
Chiefs over Browns. Excellent game.
Cowboys over Bears. An 0-2 Cowboys start would be appreciated. It won't happen.
Eagles over Lions. I know people want to pick the Lions. I want to pick the Lions. But I also want Vick to do great. And then I want to see Reid try and start Kolb in Week 3. Then I want to see what happens if Kolb is terrible in Week 3. This is what I want to happen. It starts with an Eagles win on Sunday.
Packers over Bills. A lot to nothing.
Titans over Steelers. Chris Johnson is really good.
Vikings over Dolphins. Favre will bounce back with a better game. D picks off Henne 2 times, one for a score.
Panthers over Buccaneers. As long as Carolina doesn't throw 3 int's into the end zone.
Seahawks over Broncos. Is Seattle good?
Rams over Raiders. I hope St. Louis wins a game this year so I'll pick till they win it.
Patriots over Jets. Still not buying Sanchez.
Jags over Chargers. LT curse.
Redskins over Texans. Texans are my new team, but Washington will figure out how to stop the run better than Indy.
Giants over Colts. Eli plays D on a series and sacks Peyton, LT-Joe Thiesmann style.
Saints over 49ers. Hooray.
here's a picture of some muddy cars

Falcons over Cards.
ReplyDeleteRavens over Bengals. Ray Rice and Tank McGahee will tire the Bengals D by second half. Easy pickins for Flacco after that. Cedric Benson is overrated still, and the Bengals will be the Bengals.
Chiefs over Browns.
Cowboys over Bears. Dez Bryant's "breakout" game.
Eagles over Lions. Michael Vick will be both the running back and the quarterback in the Wildcat.
Packers over Bills.
Seahawks over Broncos. Close game, I think.
Raiders over Rams.
Chiefs over Browns.
Patriots over Jets. If you have Brady, I wouldn't recommend starting him against this defense.
Chargers over Jaguars.
Titans over Steelers. CJ is really good, and Dennis Dixon is just mediocre.
Texans over Redskins. Schaub is better than McNabb. Adrian Foster is better than Clinton Portis.
Giants over Colts. My upset pick of the week. This is Jacobs big game, and Eli should be better than expected.
Saints over 49ers. I wouldn't trust Alex Smith to sell a used car.
Jusan: Cardinals (mad at falcons)

Im going to have to disagree w/ some of your picks...first and foremost is the Ravens game. Granted I may be biased, but after Cinci's dismal showing against the Pats which is essentially the same team the Ravens steamrolled in the playoffs I doubt Cinci will beat the Ravens, in fact I bet we sweep Cinci this year. Especially since Ray Lewis is playing like a man possessed and Q is showing he can be a deep threat. TO will continue to drops balls and Benson wont be able to run against us esp if Cody is back for this game. Cody and Ngata will stuff the run on the inside and Suggs and JJ will take care of the outside.
ReplyDeleteI think the Bears will win against the Cowboys. The 'Boys have the talent, but they lack mental toughness.
The Lions showed me something in Week 1 and as long as Stafford is in I think they can beat the Eagles. I think if the Eagles are going start Kolb a week after a concussion they will be even more vulnerable.
I like the Raiders over the Rams.
Pats over the Jets. The paper champs will be 0-2.
I dont see any let down in Houston this week against the 'Skins. They didnt beat Dallas, Dallas lost the game. I think the Texans have some confidence after beating the Colts.
